Deer Invades Hokkaido Apartment Building

November 1st, 2007 by James

Hokkaido police discovered a wild deer on the grounds of a temple in Sapporo yesterday evening, and despite efforts to wall it in for the night, the deer somehow found its way out of their trap and appeared in a nearby apartment building this morning. Here’s a video of the cops finally capturing the animal:

After its capture, the deer was taken to the mountains and released. Hopefully he’s learned his lesson and will be staying away from humans from now on.
