Are you sure there are such followings in RURAL China? From what I see, she like doing this in the more conservative rural areas. Think of the heart attacks she caused.

I can understand why people would think “exploitation” and all, considering it is strange to go into a rural area and pose nearly nude with poor villagers. However, I did some searching for Japanese gravure and adult actresses on Chinese search engines and geez, I was surprised that they have a huge following in China. Many actually have Chinese fan clubs devoted to them.

A possible source of reconciliation perhaps?
