It’s not the fact that they dressed like this to strike. It’s the fact that they dressed like this for a press conference and a meeting with government officials I find extremely inappropriate. They are attempting to do some good, but if you can’t dress like you want to be taken seriously–especially in a country like Japan–people will be less likely to give a damn about what you are trying to do.

Well, to be fair, that was the NOVA mascot and nearly everyone who was an ‘English teacher’ in Japan was really into those Japanese cartoons and sometimes dressing up as their favorite character. But yeah, even if that girl was an exception, the people in that crowd do look like a bunch of beer guzzling frat house kids I’d often see back home.

Seriously… What the hell are they doing going out looking like that. What a motley crew of douchebags. I mean, I can respect that they want to protest, but at least make yourselves look presentable. They look the hokiest union strikers ever.. Teamsters put like these folks in the back of Lincoln town cars and drive em off the pier. Pathetic looking.

I just wanna know one thing, what shit was the girl smoking, when she thought wearing that ridiculous suit would be a good thing to wear at a strike about unfair labor practices. Or just in general for that reason, leave the suits for Halloween honey!, Just cause your a foreigner doesn’t mean people don’t think you look stupid.
