The requirements are that the demands be legal ones, e.g. for payment of salary, and that the strike be approved by a majority of union members in a secret ballot. These are the only requirements in Japanese law. How does that help the employer?

Yeah I hope this goes down well. I have a friend back in the states who confirmed what I had heard that NOVA is still recruiting as if there is no problem over here! Really unbelievable!

Good work, union guys. Although I no longer work for NOVA, I will piss myself laughing if Saruhashi gets prosecuted!
