Noise Hag Returns

September 26th, 2007 by Claytonian

騒音おばさん (Noise Hag) is back! Cover your ears! Actually–and thankfully– it’s a joke (this time).

In case you missed the original noise hag news story, here’s the rundown. For two years, day in and day out, an old woman would beat her carpet while chanting, or put out a boombox with the very obvious purpose of annoying her neighbors. Even so, the cops sat on their thumbs for all that time, before finally taking care of her.
Here is some footage of the real Noise Hag

What is she saying in the original vid?

What did they do to her?

Why was she so angry?

She’s screeching things like “Move out!”, “Get out now, goddamnit! This morning! Right now!” etc. The “noise hag” was really something like a “noise schizophrenic”. She was clearly mentally ill, paranoid about her neighbors, but the TV programs, and the public, had a great time ridiculing her anyway. It was cruel.

Obviously there were no gaijin living nearby, or the problem would have been “solved” (permanently, capice?) within 2 weeks.
