The fall 2007 edition of the Sasuke obstacle course aired on TV Wednesday night. Like all the Sasuke obstacle courses before it, it was friggin’ awesome. Here are some highlights!

First off we have a video of Lance, a 32 year-old South African who teaches English to kindergartens and trained for Sasuke on his school’s playground. He brought along a cheering squad of his students, but their cheering wasn’t enough to get him through the course:

There were also a few joke contestants, such as this tiny 50 year-old man:

However, the funniest guy was this fellow, who thought he’d look cool if he took off his pants:

This American lawyer, who calls himself Bengoshi Sasuke, made an attempt in his comical outfit:

This last video is of the American fans of Sasuke who know it by its English name, Ninja Warrior. These two fellows won some sort of competition to get where they were, but they didn’t make it very far (and neither did super athlete Paul Anthony Terek, who is included at the end of the clip) :

In the end it turned out that this year’s first stage obstacles were the most difficult in the history of Sasuke: only 2 of the 100 contestants made it to the second round. For full results, check out Lost in Ube’s Sasuke Fall 2007 post!
