Foreigner Attacks JR Tokkaido Line Passengers
It’s all over the news! A white foreigner attacked a passenger on a JR Tokkaido Line train last night around 9:30pm:
Witnesses say the foreigner got into an argument with a man on the train, eventually hitting the other man. The foreigner then took something like a tear gas spray and sprayed it at the man. Gas doesn’t exactly have pinpoint accuracy, so many other passengers on the train were affected by the spray, reporting that the gas made their eyes, nose, and throats hurt. Seventeen of the passengers were taken to a hospital for treatment of “light injuries.” Police are searching for the suspect, who is described as about 175-185cm tall with blonde hair and a dark clothing.
