Japan’s Most Dangerous Streets

September 19th, 2007 by James

Last week Asahi TV did an investigative report about some roads in Tokyo that were narrow to the point of being a major safety hazard for drivers and pedestrians. Here are a couple clips from it:

Dangerous Area 1

Dangerous Area 2

One of these days they’ll get around to making some reports about the half a dozen similarly dangerous streets that I bike along every single day, but they’ve probably got a few million streets to cover before that….

Are there any dangerously narrow roads in your town?
