Pacific War Documentary CM
This commercial, for a documentary series called The Pacific War, has been getting a lot of air time on TV this week:
It advertises itself as recollection of the 3 years and 8 months of the war, and calls on viewers to check out more details in the morning edition of (yesterday’s) newspaper. It looked like it would provide an interesting look into the Japanese perspective of the war, but when I managed to find a site selling the series, I found that it was priced at 38,000 yen (320 dollars) for a 10 DVD set. I think I’ll wait for it it’s price to drop to something reasonable…
