It’s the girl that is the hawk, according to the site linked to. (Yeah, hawk chicks are hot….) But paedophilic? Ridiculous. She doesn’t even show anything above the knee. I’d say it’s about as paedophilic as Alice in Wonderland, but that might be a bad comparison, considering Dodgson’s dodgy ideas.

I don’t think this is primarily aimed at kids, due to the lack of furigana beside the kanji.

And that blue garment looks like a skirt rather than an apron.

I can’t really blame certain Japanese for wanting more muscle – with not only the Norks but the Chinese and their constant sabre-rattling right next door.

It would be disturbing if grown men liked this kind of stuff, but here’s what I think.
Maybe it’s targetted towards children as well; children tend to not know about how the government works—and even non-otaku children read manga as well.
