I burst out crying when I heard these melodies! I have no interest in trains, but I realized that in some way these melodies are what really makes me feel like “being in Japan” and I was struck with a very powerful desire to go back upon hearing them.

Call me crazy, but I want to hear recordings of the automated voices in the station. I find the announcements at Shibuya particularly amusing. “Shibu-YA, Shibu-YA…” It sounds like something out of Street Fighter.
