Did some research and the clip is from Food Battle Club 3 (フードバトルクラブ ３) THE SPEED in 2002 on TBS. This was right at the height of the speed eating craze in Japan -- and before they stopped airing specials (can you believe watching a special about people speed eating for two hours?) because people got hurt copying them I believe. It's just labeled as Sports Drink -- I guess they couldn't get an official sponsor? http://plaza3.mbn.or.jp/~princeyamamoto/FBC/FBC3-1.html All of the guys sitting with their mouths open are all speed eaters and at the 8 second mark you see this kind of wide mouth guy -- that's Shiroto Noboyuki, the only guy in Japan who could take down Kobayashi Takeru at that time.
