Billy Blanks In Japan: Morning Workout

American fitness guru Billy Blanks arrived in Japan yesterday to promote his Billy’s BootCamp workout DVD’s, which are currently enjoying immense popularity in Japan (80% of women the show polled on the streets of Tokyo could correctly identify BIlly when shown his picture). His first official TV appearance was on this morning’s “Zoom-In SUPER” on NTV. As part of his appearance, he did a short workout with the show’s cast:

Of course, no foreign celebrities appearance on a Japanese TV show is without its awkward moments. For some reason, the men on the show wanted to touch Billy’s muscles:

A lame Sonomama Higashi impersonator also touched Billy’s leg:

He may have had his leg poked by some weird guy, but he’ll be making a ton of extra DVD sales from this promotional appearance. I’d say that’s a fair trade-off.
