Foreign Hostess Clubs Raided In Tokyo

Several Russian hostess clubs were raided in Tokyo today:

According to reports, 14 women were arrested and 49 were detained by immigration. Several networks have been showing footage of the Russians, many of whom were illegally in Japan on overstayed visas or through fake marriages to Japanese men, being loaded into police vans. It is the first time I’ve seen such coverage of a large scale arrest of illegal foreign workers in Japan.

Having worked in both gaijin and Japanese host and strip clubs, casinos, etc. There’s a lot more Japanese dirty clubs than foreigner ones, wasn’t a high ranking official caught doing a 14yo girl in one of the Kyoto nightspots and only got a slap on the wrist.

They brought in a new bogus law in which they want the clubs to show 1 year of backdated tax records for all the dancers who have worked in the club. There is no way they are enforcing it, Japanese police are utter f&%kups at most everything they do and spend all their time chasing unregistered bicycles. These laws are made just to target clubs who are not being controlled by the right people. By right people, I mean the same ones who control the Japanese police, the majority of the strip clubs and the construction industry 4-finger salute!

Hey, the crazy Japanese police are cracking dooowwwn!! Not just on the Russians either, they want to clear out the dirty gaijin!! I’m an American girl and I was hostessing at night and teaching in the day and I STILL got deported, no if’s and’s or but’s!! No more 5am sushi for me!! All in all I never fell in love with Japan ,but it sure was an experience.

If your comment is true, I’d have to say you deserved to be deported. Sounds like you were in violation of the law by working as a hostess while on a visa for something else. You would have been breaking the law: no ifs ands or buts.
