Web Designers Wanted!

[Update: After getting several requests from designers, we have decided to set the submission deadline at June 30th. If anyone else is interested, please contact us.]

In the last few months, Japan Probe’s readership has grown immensely, so it’s about time for this site to get a make-over.

What we’re looking for:
A new site template/css stylesheet for this WordPress blog. We’re looking for a clean and simple appearance, rather than a ultra-artistic/abstract look. It should be able to incorporate most of the stuff currently visible on the site’s sidebars.

What you’ll get:
Whoever creates the design we like the most will have the opportunity to include this popular site in their design portfolio and place a “template designed by” link/button to their homepage in the footer of every single page on Japan Probe. This site gets hundreds of thousands of page views every month, so it will be great exposure. A post will also be made when the new design goes live, announcing the creator and his/her link.

Those that submit impressive design proposals that are not chosen as the final design will have images of their concepts and links to their sites displayed in the post as “Runner-Up” entries (if you want your concept to be kept secret, we’ll do so).
