Takeru Kobayashi T-Shirts Released

June 15th, 2007 by James

Takeru Kobayashi, who until recently held the world record for hot dog eating, has released a line of $20 t-shirts on his site. Some of the t-shirts flaunt his world champion status and the 53.5 hot dogs he ate, which probably means he wasn’t counting on having his record broken when the t-shirts were sent to be printed. His site also mentions that a Kobayashi-developed weight maintenance pill will soon be available for purchase, and anyone who is interested can join a mailing list about the pill. Check out his shop here (folks in Japan can order other Kobayashi t-shirts here for a much higher price).

Wonder if Big Boy restaurants are going to go after Kobayashi for blatant copyright infringement (logo in upper right corner above):

Probably not worth it, but …
