very touching…;_;
the first “Ken Tanaka” post suspected it to be a fake…
if it really is, this “Ken Tanaka” is quite skilled in drama.

nevertheless, hope he’d find his parents sooner or later.

He does a good impression of a Japanese person attempting to speak in Engrish; but if he is a native Japanese speaker it’s not quite as convincing to hear his Japanese. His enunciation of Japanese words are the equivalent of a foreigner living in Japan who honed their Japanese speaking skills (5+ years with a lot of hard work can get it to his level). His Japanese pronounciations with intonations remind me of Dave Spectre.

Even when he attempts to speak in English it is interesting that he has no hesitation in saying the word “difficult”; yet he pauses at saying the word “sad”. A bit too much 演技 if you ask me.

Guess he needs his niche. Apparently trying to gain popularity playing the sympathy card.

This guy reminds me of Most Extreme Elimination Challenge aired on Spike TV. It’s the English dubbed version of Takeshi’s Castle, a hilarious Japanese game show. A person who dubbes Sonomanma Higashi, who is called Ken on the dubbed version, intentionally speaks English with a funny asian accent. The TV show might have inspired this Ken Tanaka guy or whatever he is called.

Halting pronunciation, no grammatical errors whatsoever. He’s definitely not a native Japanese speaker. Is there really any doubt as to whether or not this is a gag?

I think this is fake, someone in the comments said his real name is David Ury
Check out this IMDB profile and the photo, it’s identical except the mustache and the hair style but that’s him. Great actor though ;)
