Glass Found In Food At Japanese KFC

June 1st, 2007 by James

According to this news report released today, two customers at an undisclosed KFC location in Japan found pieces of glass in their meals:

One of the two customers suffered some cuts in his or her mouth as a result of the incident. KFC has admitted that there was glass in some of their cabbage, stating that the glass came from a thermometer that broke inside of the refrigerator where the food was being stored. Yum!

Update: It was a coleslaw salad, and they have put a temporary halt to the sale of such salads…

Last night I was eating a cookie I bought from a local Albertsons and crunched down on something. I pull it out of my mouth and found it was a piece of glass. Not good for them eh?
