I remember a programme that had this woman. Can’t remember the title, but they went round the country finding the most amazing people. Got a bit barrel-scraping towards the end, but some of the things were amazing. Like this. If I remember rightly, they had two presenters, each with their team of investigative reporters, and they’d compete for the weirdest one. そのとき、特派員がみたのは！ was the catchphrase I think.
