The Little Gaijin (Video)

April 28th, 2007 by James

Apparently the JET’s in Innoshima, Hiroshima Prefecture, have way too much free time on their hands. Luckily, they used it to create one of the best videos about life as an ALT in Japan (and the funniest musical about foreigners in Japan I’ve ever seen):

The Little Gaijin is stuck on the island and longs to go back to the real world. Does that exist over the bridge?

This is hilarious. Nice work girls… looks like you put a lot of time and effort into it. Well, at least there is a Saty.

That’s my dose of 100% pure awesome for the day. Fabulous job, girls. Btw, I’m on Hakatajima, which is REALLY close to Innoshima. In fact, I also teach on Yugejima, and ride the ferry that terminates at Innoshima. If you guys want to make another video, or stave off boredom at some point, count me (and the other Ehimenians) in. :-) We may be technically in Ehime-ken, but we’re Seto Naikai fellows. Cheers.
