[...] Also, tipped from Hyewon…she found out who the strange Polysics dancing girl is! Her name is Mao Murakami…Hyewon left me a MySpace comment some time back showing the video…interesting. The page with the link above has that video, look for a schoolgirl in a blank room that says “Polysics” above…though the other videos are fun to watch too. It’s weird though…on one moment, her and her father are in their robes in their Buddhist temple and the next moment they look like they stuck their hand in one of my radar cabinets! Oh well…the week’s been slightly normal for me, just not in general. My prayers still go out to those affected by the bridge collapse. Other than one machine’s programming hiccups (not my fault!) and another machine’s controller going down and it being a brand new model that I’ve never seen before, and I lost probably five gallons of water via sweat trying to help get it to run (it’s getting a bit warmer now…they’re even thinking of forecasting triple digit highs in the upcoming week!). Completamente inspirado em DEVO, a banda japonesa é uma evolução do estilo nerd misturando ficção científica trash com música despretensiosa. Já havia visto o clipe de Domo Arigato Mr Roboto, mas ainda que não seja ruim, o clipe em particular não exibe o melhor do estilo nerd devoluído de Polysics. Anyone who likes this stuff should try to find any スーパーチャンプル (or it’s predecessor 少年チャンプル) episodes. Strong Machine 2 has been on a couple of times and there are some great dancers on the shows.
