I HATE GAIJIN (Video)

April 8th, 2007 by James

Bruce Willis impersonator Puchi Bruce (mentioned in these two previous posts) has uploaded another YouTube video. This time he tries his hand at the famous scene from Die Hard 3 in which John McClane is forced to wear a “I hate niggers” sign board in Harlem. Puchi Bruce twists things a bit and wears an “I HATE GAIJIN” sign board in Roppongi:

Puchi is a bit lacking in the English line memorization department but he’s still pretty awesome.

His video recreations suffer a bit due to the awkward acting by his English-speaking stand-ins, but these videos are highly amusing. I applaud his decision to simply mumble crazy words when faced with threatening hoodlums.

Pretty much what Willis did in the movie. The guy playing Samuel L loses it with his voice, but he’s pretty good with the mannerisms.
