Detective Conan plugs Japan’s Foreign Ministry
Kyodo News reports that Detective Conan will now be helping to promote the Foreign Ministry:
The Foreign Ministry issued Friday a guide to the ministry and its tasks based on popular Japanese cartoon and manga series “Detective Conan.” The ministry aims to create increased public awareness of Japan’s diplomacy in the more attractive, easy-to-understand format of manga, Foreign Minister Taro Aso said in a news conference.
