Reminds me of a newbie JET story – went into a McDonald’s and wanted to order the #5 combo. Holds up his hand outstretched (counting out five) and points to the menu. Lady gives him five hamburgers. “o hitotsu” can be a lifesaver.
i like Nanako Matushima. she is very beautiful.
There’s a follow-up commercial where she goes back after practicing and can actually order. Not quite as amusing though.

that was rather funny at the end. its jus like my time in philippines. i was in a kodak shop in a sleppy filipino town. asking lots of differant ways to explain how much the bill is as the photos are 1 peso each, and i didnt know how many photos i had. she jus kept saying ‘yes’, ‘yes’ ‘yes’ after 5 mins i was about to leave when she said in english, please pay!!
