Spooky Amusement Park

These spooky photographs are of the disused Tsuga fun park in Tohoku. It was built in 1973 but has since been abandoned, and local kids believe it to be haunted. The creepy pics were taken by the ace photographer Kotarou Shibakoen, and more can be seen at his homepage.
It looks like the sort of place Scooby Doo and Shaggy would stumble upon.

Yes, apparently it’s still there in Tohoku prefecture! It would, indeed be a very cool place for a rave, or to film a horror movie or something.

I think this place was also featured in Card Captor Sakura? I can’t quite remember, I know I’ve heard of it before.

Yes, it does exist. I live about a 5-minute drive from it. It used to be called ‘Greenland’. Recently someone has started doing some cleaning up though.

This place is a gold mine. Don’t clean it up. Make it workable but don’t make it look new. People absolutely love to be scared and will pay big bucks for it. Put in a I-MAX theater with scary movies a haunted hotel some secret passage ways and spooky charicthrs to sell goodies. A ghost town with some Hi-tech supprises. Some place for the addrenalin junkies to be scared, like a climbing rock with a few supprises or rides that seem to be faulty. Hamburgers with gummie eyeballs in them and bloody marries to enjoy as you float down the mechanical alligator infested swamp. And of course you need a labrinth full of dead ends. Use your heads this place is full of possibilities.
