We Are the World? (Video)

Here’s a clip from the celebrity impersonation special that aired a few weeks ago (which also starred the Japanese Bruce Willis). Here we have a performance of “We Are the World,” a song loved by English teachers in junior high schools across Japan:

I’m not really sure what to make of this video, but I bet Ray Charles was spinning in his grave when it aired…

Shoot… to be doing impressions in a foreign language… that’s not too bad. I kinda dug it.
