For the first video, its not at all cruel for her to have her jaw corrected, in fact i would argue it would be inhumane to label her or the show superfacial when all they wanted to do was to correct a disfiguring setback.

For the second video, I think its a 50/50 thing. If she could afford it, then why not. Eyelid surgeries are very common in asia.

I think those "stoney eyes" would work okay on a MALE but for a female they dont fit very well.

i know how the top girl feels as i was born with an protruding chin. iv always wanted to have it placed back, but during the time of the late 70, early 80's the operation would be the same as they have done here, but i was told it was rather risky due to the tendons etc. so iv never had it done, although mine isnt as bad as hers, my teeth are still messed up and i have one baby tooth left at 34 years old. iv just learnt to smile more, and to hell with it. still, when she smiled before the operation, she looks better, not so depressing looking when her face is relaxed. after, wow, better looking, and new hairstle too for extra confidence.

i jus cant aford plastic surgrey. still, it least i can still touch my nose with my tongue, something i wont be able to do if i had the operation

True.
That first girl had an almost disfiguring abnormality - the makeover was vanity, but the surgery was not.

The second girl seemed like she needed counseling rather than a makeover.

And also an impressive statement about the powers of modern medicine. They cut her jaw off, chopped it back, and stuck it back on, basically. Not an option available to even the Hapsburg Emperors....
