New credit card celebrates 150 years of Yokohama
A new Life Card/VISA credit card series released in cooperation with the Yokohama Shopping District Association will celebrate the 150th anniversary of Yokohama with historical images on the face of each card. The card pictured above takes its image from the lithograph “Landing of Commodore Perry, officers & men of the squadron, to meet the Imperial commissioners at Yoku-Hama July 14th 1853“. Blurry low quality images of the other two cards in the series, which have ships on them, can be seen in this PDF of Life Card’s announcement of the new card series.
