Japan's War in Color (Video)

A couple interesting videos uploaded by youichi15998, which have apparently been taken from a Discovery Channel documentary called “Japan’s War in Colour.” The documentary shows us never before seen color footage taken by Japanese cameramen before and during the war:

This is amazing documentary. I didn’t know Discovery Channel made this, when was it made, would you have any idea James?

It was made in 2005. Not sure if it was made by the Discovery Channel, but it was definitely recorded from their broadcast.

It’s only about 20 minutes of the total 150+ minutes of the documentary, so I wouldn’t go offering any babies just yet…

Interesting that not all the video was Japanese made.
I saw a Japanes zero getting shot at in the first clip.
Either the plane that took the footage was shot down or Discovery ch. cheated a bit.
