Tokyo is one of the ugliest modern cities in the world. Disrupting the local scenery means diverging from the sea of blandness and lack of any aesthetic merit that pervades this city. They should let the Italians design all their buildings.

Considering the front of the building is basically a giant Japanese red/white flag it’s surprising that the Yomiuri and their friends at Yasukuni complained. Still, now that they’ve announced their love of harmony and serenity I’m sure their next campiagn will be against the Gaisensha fleets.
