I like Episode #2 where Kelly is forced to chase after people pulling her eyes back to make them look “asian” and yelling at people “me chinese, me play joke, me put pee-pee in your coke”. That was hillarious and to watch all those Japanese people run from her…well I bought everything that ever advertiser was trying to sell during the show.

I agree. I can even understand that mindset, because I remember what I had thought of Japan before I came over here; there are those who see nothing more than the “wacky” side of Japan. It’s just impossible for some people to understand that people are living the same lives, doing the same work, with aspects of their culture tossed in.

I doubt that it will make many Japanese people think foreigners are stupid, as few if any Japanese people will ever hear about or see the show. If anything, it’s meant to capitalize on the image of “wacky Japan” that people in the U.S. / U.K. perceive. I’d be more concerned about the dumbed-down wacky costume-wearing sex-hoteling samurai/geisha Japan the show will portray to millions of moronic viewers abroad.
