A Baby Ape
The Japan Times points to a new store by Bathing Ape frontman Nigo, “Bape Kids,” where parents can adorn their kids in munchkin versions of the famous streetwear.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Bathing Ape go out of style about 5 years ago? According to the article, Nigo is rocking out in bling-bling that’ll make ya wanna hizalla, but I haven’t seen anybody wearing any of his shit for years. Certainly not in Kansai.
Still though, the store does look sleek, and I’m sure it’d be fun for kids to play in, though there’s no net around the banana pit (center) to stop the kids from pelting their parents in the back of the head. But maybe if they don’t let gaijin kids in, it won’t be a problem.
