have they been brainwash?!?! OMG!! escalator and supermarket that part is the most unbelievable… one take away is people dont dare to look back because they are not confident of themselves, which i guess is being implanted in alot of people by society/environment/family/whatever. If i were to be rang i will look back and check on the person rather then just to glance over my shoulder.

I don’t think that’d work here in the States … we haven’t been conditioned to respond to the bell in that way. Perhaps a nice punch to the back of the person’s head in front of you will do …

LOL! When I read your title, I knew exactly what this video would be about… This totally reminds me that when I first went to Japan, I didn’t notice these bells like every other Japanese person does! It’s really quite interesting that everywhere in Japan, people automatically dodge out of the way when they hear these bicycle bells.
