Hooters in Japan?
According to a recent press release, Hooters Restaurant, famous for… buffalo wings, plans to open shop in Japan by the end of the year. This presents us with a series of questions, the least of which include the, um, shall we say logistics of the uniform? But I guess if they could pull it off in China and Taiwan (pictured) they can do it in Japan.
The real question is, how will the restaurant go over in a country that makes Denny’s a restaurant that doesn’t sell hamburgers? Essentially, Hooters is a sports bar, and while i’m sure it’ll be an easy jump to switch fetishes from Race Queens to Hooters Girls, how will the recipes go over? Will they replace spicy buffalo wings with karaage? A bucket of fries with a shotglass of fries?
When Hooters opens in Japan, are you gonna go?
