Britney Spears’ Japanese Commercials

I just came across these Japanese commercials for a “Tea Soda” featuring Britney Spears:

I’ve never actually seen these commercials on TV, nor have I seen the product advertised in them, so I’m guessing these commercials are pretty old.

[The fact that she's not totally trashy in the commercial also suggests that these may be old as well.]

I’m surprised she was about to get away with that. Her contract with Pepsi for adverts should have forbid her from doing adverts for any other drink product. I know they used her adds in Japan too….

I’d say this is at least two years old. Say what you will about Britney, at one point she had the finest ass in captivity.

FYI I know a guy who had a job driving her around while she was filming Crossroads. He said she wasn’t going to put the fear of god into Stephen Hawking any time soon, but she was just a nice, sweet girl with piles of money who liked to have a good time. She’d get in his van after filming and say, “Where do you want to go for dinner?” and then she’d have him pick up a bunch of his own friends on the way.

They shoulda just told her there would be photographers there. That’s all it takes lately.

I can’t decide if I want Britney Spears’s body or Ginger Spice’s from about ten years ago. One or the other for sure. Time to get to the gym and get back to the zero carb, all psychoactive substances diet.

This is ancient history. Popdirt had a link last April to britneyjapan.net with these commercials, but that site is now defunct. It’s so funny to read your comments about the legality of this issue. Do you not think she has lawyers? Do you think she signed a lifetime contract? Get real.
