What if you take the shibori into the bathroom to wipe your face and leave it there? Is that better? (I'm guessing it's the public washing the women don't like.)
I was surprised at the nitpicky nature of the pet peeves, but I guess that's why they're pet peeves. I wonder how many of those little things are deal-breakers.

That said, I am irked by guys who are afraid of bugs or cab't park car and, if loud typing is the hammering on the keyboard variety, I can see that being an irritant, too. Know what? White socks with a suit? That's uncalled-for as well.

It's funny - noahT points out the predilection among young women for androgynous boys, but some of those pet peeves make it sound as though the ladies surveyed would like some manlier men.

Maybe old men put the oshibori on their face, but shit man, putting a warm towl on your face after braving the bitter cold of Japan's winter is one of the best feelings out there. Of course, I do it before I wipe my hands, so it is still clean.

Washing your face with the oshibori is the habit of old men, so it's not cool at all.

Also, for me and especially paper oshiboris, my stubble catches fluff from the towel, which is definitely キモイ for the woman.
