KAWASAKI — A newspaper delivery office worker has been arrested for growing hemp at his apartment, police said on Monday.
Tomonori Sato, 25, from Kawasaki’s Miyamae-ku, stands accused of growing hemp in the closet of his apartment. He has admitted to the allegations.
Earlier on Monday, firefighters and police officers rushed to Sato’s apartment after a heat sensor was activated. They learned that the sensor detected heat from the lighting Sato used to grow the hemp. (Mainichi)
