Tokyo Eye & Patrick Macias investigate maid cafes
Apparently there’s a new show on N-H-K World called “Tokyo Eye“, which gives the world community a look at cool places in Tokyo. The first episode of the show featured otaku author Patrick Macias giving viewers a tour of Akihabara’s maid culture. Patrick, dude. I can appreciate your ethusiasm for Japanese pop culture and the fact that you have written several books on the subject, but seriously man, get a hair cut. Am I the only person out there who is bothered by the fact that there are so many long-haired otaku gaijin out there? Otaku dudes in Japan would be a lot more tolerable if they just kept their hair short.
