Otaku girls go for girly men (who are actually girls).

September 15th, 2006 by James

Let’s see: maid cafes, butler cafes, what else….

Oh yes, that’s right, I forgot to mention the cafes where girls are served by females who dress and act like effeminate men! The above video introduces us to Cafe B:Lily-Rose, where ugly girls go to relax with girls who are pretending to be pretty men(or “galcon”, which I assume to be a clever wordplay on the French word “garcon”). One customer says that she can be more friendly with them than men: since they are female it’s easier to talk to them and they understand her feelings. And she can pay 500 yen to have her picture taken with the girly-men girls, fantastic!

Is the fate of girls who spend too much time reading comic books about romantic flowery men? And here I thought there were plenty of Japanese guys out there who dressed and put their hair in an effeminate style, but I guess they only date attractive women..

Y’know, Otaku should never come to America because if they do, they’ll be in a world of shock! Akihabara is the best place for them. I feel bad for the girls (the pretty ones) because they’re wasting their youth away at a cheesy place like that.
