The Japanese media is in the midst of a royal grovel-fest over yesterday’s royal birth. It seemed like every channel last night was full of praise for the great royal family and the awesome-ness of giving birth to a boy. There was also lots of footage of Prince Dork-hair catching catfish in muddy rivers, which seems to becoming a royal tradition. All the love for every single thing the royal family did had me at the edge of my seat.

Of course, the foreign media also loves royal news. Here are a few of the best/worst headlines from the birth:

Land of the rising ‘son’ (Times.tv/Reuters) and Rising Son (Star-Telegram)

For a second there, I thought we were all going to sufficate.

Surely it will please you all to know that Princess Kiko has donated the blood from her umbilical cord to be used for transplant to leukemia patients. Hurry up now and get leukemia, and you might have a chance to have royal blood!

Japan Probe will continue to update you the latest news about the amazing royal family. Be sure to check this site every couple hours to see if Prince Akishino or Princess Kiko have taken a shit recently. There will be no need to report on its odor, since the Japanese media has already informed us that it doesn’t stink.
