Foreigners film themselves tormenting the homeless

I like how in the comments people assume it was Americans doing this and then talk about how Americans are trouble, but then someone corrects them and says the guys are Australian and people go silent about picking out one group of foreigners that are trouble and just say foreigners in general are trouble.

But it’s totally true, you Australians going out getting drunk and causing trouble are making a bad name for all us good and non-trouble making Americans. Everyone knows we are little angels

Every time someone from a foreign country behaves badly, the tendency of the natives is to conclude the majority of people from that country behave poorly. For instance, if one Japanese tourist wears shorts with pictures of Little Black Sambo on them, the rapid conclusion is that all Japanese are prejudiced and insensitive.

While what these guys did is appalling, I think people need to try to reign in their inclination to paint everyone in a culture with the same brush just because one person (or a lone group) did something.

I am Ashamed to be Australian. Male Aussies act like that all the time when there drunk, thats normal for them! they come from the “Buy me a beer and i’ll do anything” philosophy!

Anyone who’s lived in Australia knows getting drunk and starting fights is pretty routine. Prejudice is assuming most Australians are this way, which isn’t true. But the stereotype actually comes from somwhere.

people tend to do things which they never do in their own society, like some (little) fractions of foreigners in japan do. i don’t believe they do this kind of shit in Germany (just an example). they can do this shit because japanese people don’t stop? because japanese people are just smiling? pity.

Japan should be really careful who they let into the country, those fools in the video make a bad name for all foreigners. Very immature and childish.Show some good behavior when visiting other countries. If they think they are so smart in making fun of other people, please stay in your own country and let your own police officer arrest you.
