Teen arrested for tattooing young female roommate with sewing needle
Hello all, before my first post I’d like to take a quick opportunity to thank James for having me on in his place. Though I’m a relatively lazy blogger and only post once a day (with weekends off) over at Konbini Life, I’ll try to keep up to the Japan Probe standards for the next week or so. Now, onto the news:
According to Mainichi Daily News, a kid in Osaka made a handful of teenage girls live in his apartment, convinced them that they had evil spirits in them, and forced at least one of them into prostitution. Not to mention that he beat them. Of course the only arrestable offense in all the horrible things he did was that he “etched tattoos in the form of crosses on them.” Ah, the logic of the Japanese legal system prevails once again.
When questioned by police, the girls reportedly told them the youth would assault them when he got angry, and etched tattoos in the form of crosses on them, saying it was to dispel spirits. He also allegedly forced at least one of them into prostitution.
Two of the girls approached police about the youth’s actions on July 16. Law enforcers arrested him after he reportedly admitted tattooing the victims. Police served the 19-year-old a fresh arrest warrant on Aug. 4 for allegedly injuring the university student by burning her with a cigarette.
At least they updated the arrest warrant with the cigarette burn charges. But perish the thought that he should get in any kind of trouble for forcing a girl into prostitution, beating the girls, or forcing them to live in squalid conditions.
