While visiting my nephew on Sado island in May I met Charles Jenkins at the Sado Rekishi Densetsukan Museum (Sado Historical Folklore Museum). We talked in the museum cafe and I had my picture taken with him. I was told that his wife is working for the Sado government. She is getting, in addition to her salary, a stipend from the Sado government. Mr. Jenkins loves motorcycles and cars, and he showed me a magazine devoted to motorcycling with his picture on the cover.
