Japan’s space agency has set a goal of constructing a manned lunar base in 2030.
The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) revealed its ambition to an international conference in Tokyo this week but has not yet been alotted the budget for the ambitious project.

The first step will be to acquire a heavy lift rocket. Since NASA is just starting to develop the Ares V (basically an advanced Saturn V), it would be a good time for JAXA to try to join in on the development.
Additionally, the Breitbart article is wrong on several issues. NASA does not intend to put a man on the Moon before ~2020. Secondly, NASA does not yet have a timetable to put a man on Mars, though they have said it will probably be after 2030. More info here. Since the NASA dates are so wrong, I wouldn’t be surprised if the JAXA dates are also wrong.

I’m sorry DP, but do you have a dildo stuck up or ass or something? That website you gave us said that the US was preparing for a manned flight to the moon BY 2020, meaning 2020 is the max. And just because wikipedia doesn’t include a specific time table for the flight to Mars doesn’t mean that NASA doesn’t have one. Quick being a smartass and shut the fuck up before I slap your boyfriend with my 10 inch cock.
And from what I remember, this is not the first time JAXA has released something similar to this. First time they said something like a manned flight in 2010 and a base in 2015, now everything’s been shifted by 10-15 years.
