Yet another Hard Gay video

Is the Hard Gay fad dead yet? Apparently he’s still popular on YouTube. An episode of Hard Gay’s adventurers (with English subtitles by Bakafish), is one of the most popular videos on the site today. It is divided into four parts:

So, where are all the views coming from? Nostalgic Japanese netizens, or English speakers who have just been introduced to the glory of Hard Gay?

T&T are still going strong on NHK, sadly!

The Guitar Samurai seems to have managed to shake off his kimono and guitar, and now appears as a regular tarento, although Hiroshi is still doing his Host act.

At least HG’s one trick pony act is pretty consistently funny, although I’ve noticed that his appearances on TV have recently petered out, but that might be partially due to him getting bored with the whole act, as a few interviews with him have implied.

I still get regular search hits on him.
