whadda mean generic? the newer one reeks of generic anime. original one had a style similar to dex’s lab and samurai jack…

Dunno bout you but, I thought the Anime version of Powerpuff Girls was pretty cool. I see the original version before and liked it too.

This article is nothing but misplaced anime elitism at its very worst. how could anyone look at those side by side comparisons above and argue that the hugely stylised, aesthetically unique US versions are LESS idiosyncratic than the personality-free, cookie-cutter anime versions? The only aspects that make the new designs even remotley noteworthy are the ones they’ve borrowed from the original designs.

Oh, please. It’s freakin’ *Powerpuff Girls*. How amazingly wonderful is it supposed to be? Not to mention it’s a children’s show. How much creativity and originality is anyone really going to put into that?

Though they could’ve done Buttercup’s hair better. It doesn’t really resemble the original design that much at all.

I loved the original one, but the anime on is just…. woah. I’ll stick to the original, thanks.

i love the original,…i saw the anime version and…i like it but is a little weird, hey! the history is totally diferent…and the professor has a child o.o…eehhm wow. and it develop in the tokyo city?…nooo TT.TT everything change….that’s all. thanks

I just like the opening and ending song for this it’s pretty catchy if you listen to it over and over… The anime is sort of repetitive… I watched the original Powerpuff Girls, and I think the old one is better, but the newer one has it’s ups and downs, but, mainly downs. I’m currently watching about 10 series at once. Obviously the popular ones, like Death Note, Bleach, Naruto Shippuden, Eyeshield 21, One Piece, Gash Bell, Negima, NANA, and some other stuff that arn’t popular like Lord of Ryu Knights, Yawara, Ring ni Kakero(Only one not up-to-date), So far I’m up-to-date with all of them, and my favorite is One Piece so far, and I am watching older anime that I havn’t got to see, So I’d say, I’m watching more than 12 anime series, at once. Including Bobobo, it’s really hard to find the Japanese version… Currently I’m watching the English Version and I’m hoping I can find subs.

I dont like them i prefer the original powerpuff girls a yoyo? what is that? so boring, they dont have super powers, including the cant fly =s and bubbles have a stupid stuff. and take to much time to convert.
