Reminds of Billy Bob Thorton in Slingbade. Bad as that may be, he could probably still teach English in Japan. I've met a guy from New Zealand who barely passed high school, and claims to "have never passed an English class" in his life, who is now working at an ALT at a high school here. An ALT dispatch company has offered to have his working holiday visa turned into some sort of work visa. I think it's pretty good he is getting a job. Better than just loafing around, I suppose.
