Gaijin conspiracy theorists
Maybe it’s just me, but there seems to be a lot of conspiracy theorist gaijin wandering around Japan lately. Almost every English-speaking foreigner I have met in recent months has mentioned how the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon were the work of the United States government. Most of them claim that the documentary ‘Loose Change‘ was responsible for opening their eyes to this self-evident truth.
‘Loose Change’ is an interesting little film. Not only does it claim that the 9/11 attacks were the work of the U.S. government, it claims that remote-controlled planes were used in the attacks, the WTC was actually brought down by controlled demolition(not planes), cell phone calls from Flight 93 were faked, all the passengers and crew on Flight 93 were evacuated at Cleveland airport and disappeared and that the government has intimidated the media, scientific community and the hundreds of people who would have been involved in carrying out tha attacks into keeping silent. The documentary carefully selects small pieces of information that contradict the generally associated conclusions about what happened that day to create a pretty convincing argument.I have to admit, watching the the documentary brought up a lot of questions in my mind. Many of its claims seem to have some good “evidence” backing them up. Of course, after doing some digging around the internet, I found that almost all of them “evidence” used in the documentary is bullshit. I have decided to post a series of links to information that every person who believes in 9/11 conspiracy theories should read:

If you are a ‘Loose Change’ believer, I implore you to look at the links above, especially Screw Loose Change and the Viewers Guide. If you think all the evidence I have presented is the result of government tampering or intimidation, it will be impossible to convince you. If you are one of those people, please enjoy your moronic faith-based beliefs. I just ask that you please stop trying to convince every person you meet in Japan that ‘Loose Change’ is the greatest film of all time. Just accept the fact that some people like to take the opinions of scientific experts over the high school physics of a scratchy-voiced conspiracy monger.
