From what I have seen I have agree that the American porn directors are lazy and not too creative. The porn from Japan even though you cannot see it all in many ways is way more sexy than what I have seen here. Who knew by be restricted would make a product more creative.

I am not an expert on it, but I’ll guess no.
What I did read only prohibited the creation and distribution of uncensored pornography; not the personal viewing of it.
It’s like Washington or Oregon U.S.A, the creation or distribution of beastiality is prohibited; however the viewing of or the act of beastiality isn’t prohibited.

Do you have any actual references to Japan’s censorship laws? I’ve never seen any and specifies what they are. There used to be an article on eros.org.au called “EROS in Japan (jav censorship board)” at http://www.eros.org.au/journal.php?id=41 but I can’t find it anymore. It was a trip by Aussie adult industry types to Japan where they interviewed the board. They said censorship wasn’t a law but a custom to avoid troubles with government. Since Eros took the reference offline, it’d be a great blog post if you interviewed the board and the Moodyz legal department to get actual facts. Everything I read in English is always “it seems.”
